One of the two individuals interviewing me became rather dognmatic and agressive about my reply and more or less belittled me for not upgrading, I said I had no need to. At the end of that dialog, after letting them say their piece, I asked them in turn what they thought of the product, very quickly the other person interviewing me cut in and finalised the interview. I don't think they are smart people working there, and I don't think they want smart people working there. Maybe one is better off out of it. I was a blue badge with patents, awards, citations, commendations and hundreds of emails from customers and internals that I helped over the years. Yes Microsoft has lost its way. I found out I was cut and replaced with a H1B Visa foreign worker. In the first round of cuts only US Citizens were impacted. None were cut outside of the US and no H1B's were cut either. This was confirmed because the company has to report to the state department when H1B's are no longer employed and they had none to report.
