Win in the end
Sevaral years ago I worked in a Construction equipment dealership. Withen one year of working there I had tripled thier business and within five years had set every new record imagiable for sales. In fact I was doing so well the owner told me he would like to send me to Vegas for a few days as a gift. I really didn’t want to go and would rather have stayed and worked but he insisted.
To make a long story short I went and would you believe I actually won a brand new fully loaded four wheel drive truck. Well I was pretty excited, I got back and told the owner. The next day he insisted he should get the truck since he paid for the trip. I refused and he threw a fit that would be embarrassing to a five year old. Immediately afterwards he said he wanted me to give him the keys to the new truck and resign. I of course said no to both so he fired me. I had never been fired in my life.
Withen the six months of me being fired he lost the entire equipment line that had been so profitable to him to the revenue of about 3.5 million per year. He went out of business shortly afterwards. As for me I started my own company. The first year I grossed 1 million dollars and withen 3 years I was grossing over 10 million per year. Two years ago after being in business only six years I sold my company and retired at age 43. So yes getting fired happened to be the best thing to ever happen to me in my life. Now the thing I like most is watching other people succeed. Good Luck and don’t be afraid to roll the dice !
